Pulmonary arteries: imaging of pulmonary embolism and beyondAbstract: A pulmonary artery anomaly can be suspected based on clinical findings or chest radiographic findings, or can be incidentally detected on cross-sectional imaging. In this article we briefly discuss the cross-sectional imaging modalities utilized in the evaluation of the pulmonary arteries, followed by a review of the imaging features of various acquired and congenital entities of the pulmonary arteries, with an emphasis on their computed tomography (CT) appearances
