Endobronchial ultrasound guided transbronchial needle aspirate (EBUS-TBNA) is a procedure commonly performed with minimal complications and is recommended by major societies as an initial modality for staging patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (2-5). It also serves as an acceptable diagnostic tool in patients with sarcoidosis and lymphoma (6,7)
