Intraoperative culture positive allograft bone and subsequent postoperative infections: a retrospective review

Obtaining intraoperative cultures of allograft bone just before use in orthopedic procedures is standard practice in many centres; however, the association between positive cultures and subsequent surgical infections is unknown.
