Summary of Innovation on Poverty Eradication Theory and Practice since the 18th National Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China

在全面建成小康社会背景下的我国扶贫开发进入了脱贫攻坚新阶段。习近平扶贫开发战略思想的形成发展，为脱贫攻坚提供了根本遵循，把我国扶贫开发理论创新提高到了新的历史高度。在习近平扶贫开发战略思想指引下，各地各部门不断深入推进脱贫攻坚的实践创新，取得了显著成效，为决胜脱贫攻坚奠定了基础，也为全球减贫治理贡献了中国方案。未来不到四年时间，我国精准扶贫精准脱贫仍面临许多新的挑战和需要克服的困难。坚决打赢脱贫攻坚战，必须以习近平扶贫开发战略思想为指导，不断深入推进扶贫开发的理论创新和实践创新。
China has entered a new era in terms of its poverty alleviation endeavour in its pursuit of the moderately prosperous society（XiaokangShehui）.A guideline for the country’s poverty alleviation efforts,the development of Xi Jinping’s strategic poverty alleviation thoughts,has brought the theoryinnovation of China’s poverty alleviation to a new hight. Following his strategic thoughts on poverty alleviation, governments and authorities at different levels in China has been steadily exploring innnovations on poverty alleviation practice which has yielded remarkable effects, paving the way for winning the battle of poverty eradication nationwide and providing a Chinese solution to the global fight against poverty. In the following 3 years, there are still enormous new challenges and difficulties that lie ahead of our poverty reduction efforts.To win the battle of poverty eradication, we will need to follow Xi Jinping’s strategic poverty alleviation thoughts and continuously promote the theory and practice innovation on poverty alleviation.
