Abstract:

takinga300mwunitastheexample,thecharacteristicsandenergyconsumptionoftwoheatingapproaches,extractionsteamheatingandcirculatingwater?watersourceheatpump(cw?wshp)heating,wereinvestigated.theresultsshowthat,whenthecoefficientofperformance(cop)ofthewatersourceheatpumpsystemislargerthan5.03,thecw?wshpheatingmethodhasbetterenergysavingeffectthantheextractionsteamheatingmethod.duetolimitationofthetechnology,theactualcopofthecurrentwatersourceheatpumpisabout4.5to5.5.therefore,theenergyconsumptionofthecw?wshpheatingmethodisbasicallyequivalenttothatoftheextractionsteamheatingmethod.
