ThreeDimensionalSimulationoftheSteadySolarWindinCarringtonRotation1935, PP. 8-13 Keywords: MHDsimulation,Steadysolarwind Abstract: Athree-dimensionalMHDsimulationisconductedtostudythesteadysolarwindinCarringtonRotation(CR)1935byusingthethree-dimensionalnumericalmagnetohydrodynamic(MHD)modelintroducedbyFengetal.Thenumericalresultsdemonstratethattheneutralcurrentsheethastwopeaksandtwovalleys,whichisconsistentwiththeresultofPFSSmodelatWilcoxSolarObservatory(WSO).Theobtainedprotonnumberdensityat2.5RsisofthesameorderofmagnitudeastheresultestimatedfromK-coronalbrightnessduringtheCRs1733-1742in1983madebyWeietal.TheradialvelocityprofilealongheliocentricdistanceisconsistentwiththatoflowsolarwindspeeddeducedbySheeleyandWangetal.However,itisnotabletoreproducethefast-speedflowincoronalholesandslowsolarwindinstreamersbecauseofoversimplifiedenergyequationadoptedinourmodel.Futureeffortsmustbemadetoremedythisdeficiency.
