Comparative Study of Hard Switching and Soft Switching Boost Converter Fed from a PV Source

This paper presents a comparative study of hard switching and soft switching boost converter for interfacing photovoltaic (PV) systems. This paper mainly focuses on the minimization of switching loss by adopting soft switching technology when compared to hard switching.
