Iatrogenic dug-iduced athropathy

Old age patients, as a rule, present various diseases so that, they needto use a great number of drugs. On the other side, the metabolism ofthese drugs is frequently altered because of the special conditions ofthe aging process. So it is not rare that a symptom to be controlledmay not be caused by the disease but be a consequence of a drugthe patient is using. This chapter is aimed to enumerate the rheumaticsyndromes that can be a consequence of the various types of drugsadministered to old people.
