LOCATION AND POSITION OF WOMEN ZACAPU, MICHOACáN, STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

The work presented here allowed us to recognize, at first the problems and the situation of women in the municipality and may be the beginning of a process of solving problems. We present some of the results of diagnosis on the status and position of women in the municipality of Zacapu. Workshops were conducted participatory appraisal (whose sessions were divided into working groups) and interviews with officials as the municipality. Interviews and workshops were held in October and November 2009. In this article we present only the data obtained from population and housing census, 2005. The figures shown on Zacapu women, we refer to inequalities, gender biases that prevent the full development of them, they have less access to education, employment, land. Inequality factors are multiple, and sometimes it happens that women suffer poverty and social exclusion.
