The results of tests for toxicity of the fulfilled gases of ship diesel engines 1Ч 17,5/24 4Ч 8,5/11 under the loading characteristic at work on diesel and biodiesel fuels are presented. The specificity of using biodiesel fuel in marine engineering such as softer work of the engine; decrease in noise level of the engine; improvement of some ecological parameters of a diesel engine; some increase in the charge of fuel are stated.
