Theseresults were confirmed by histopathology reports. Ninety eight percent of our patients were satisfied with the surgery.Their symptom profile and quality of health was much improved after hysterectomy. Hysterectomy is the most commonmajor gynaecological operation. Intra and post operative complications rate was less in our patients when comparedwith other international studies. This was due to proper selection of the patients and experience of the surgeons, as100% hysterectomies were done either by consultant or senior registrars.
