SOME WORKS ON CHILDEREN’S PHILOSOPHY IN MODERN CHILDEREN’S LITERATURE / GüNüMüZ OCUK EDEB YATINDAN SE LM OCUK FELSEFES RNEKLERKeywords: Children philosophy , with children philosophize , upbringing philosophy , existentialism , ontologi proofs , metaphysics , moral , engaged fiction , Socrates-dialogues Abstract: In this article, some works on children literature, which included children philosophy directly or indirectly by means of literary fiction, have been examined. The first work, A k Olsun ocugum A k Olsun! of Mustafa Ruhi Sirin, is the first poem on children philosophy in Turkey. The second work, Sofi’nin Dünyas (Sofi’s World), is the novel of Jostein Gaarder that tells of the history of western philosophy through simple fiction. The processed third work is Kü ük Prens (Small Prince) by Antoine de Saint- Exupery. The last work, Gülibik, is a long story by Cetin ner. To find out philosophical surface and deep structure in the literary works, the analytical methods of semiotics, text linguistics and pragmatics were used in this study.
