SHEIKH VEFA AND HIS TRACTATE WHICH NAMED “YED YILDUZU AHK MI (SEVEN STARS’ ASCENDANTS)” EYH VEFA VE “YED YILDUZU AHKāMI” ADLI R SALES

This study aims to explain some beliefs -which planet control which hour of a day?- of people living in 15th Century, on the strength of a text which belonging to same century Old Anatolian Turkish which is written by SHEIKH VEF who is an astronomer of this Century. The text is a small tractate which is only 4 leaves. It is duplicated a hundred years later author’s death. In this tractate The Author explains that which planet controls which hour of a day, and doing which one of the routines is better or worse at this auspicious or inauspicious hours or in any day of any months, such as eating, drinking, cutting… etc.; also describes that doing which activities’s consequences are better or worse such as hunting, battling, consult with governors… etc. Bu al ma, XV. yüzy la ait bir metinde, d nemin insanlar n n günlük i lerine gezegenlerin etki etti ine dair inan lar ele almaktad r. ncelenen metin EYH VEF adl astronomi bilginine ait olan 4 yaprakl k kü ük bir risaledir.
