A STUDY REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN THE SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES WITHIN THE CLUJ COUNTY

The paper presents the importance of the environmental protection within the small and medium enterprises (SMEs), from the perspective of the Lisbon Strategy. This is followed by a few results of an exploratory research that took place in the Cluj county, between February-June 2009, on a sample of 50 SMEs, having among the objectives the identi cation of the present status of the environmental activity in the SMEs from Cluj, the identi cation of the activities and the number of employees within these departments.
