Análise da obra Tratados de Nobreza Civil e Crist , de Dom Jer nimo Osório da Fonseca (1506-1580), publicada pela primeira vez em 1542, relacionada ao modo de pensar típico do Humanismo português do Século XVI e à chamada Era dos Descobrimentos (Séculos XV e XVI), que representou a moderna configura o do Estado Português, de sua cultura e de sua economia. A obra foi dedicada ao infante D. Luís, irm o do rei D. Jo o III. O livro é um excelente exemplo da filosofia política do Humanismo em Portugal e sua necessária pedagogia. The analyses of Jer nimo Osório’s Tratados de Nobreza Civil e Crist , published for the first time in 1542, is related with the typical way of thinking of the Portuguese Humanism from the XVI century and the Discovery Era (XV and XVI centuries) that represented the modern configuration of State, Culture and Portuguese economy. The work was dedicated to the King’s brother, Dom Luís the infant. The book isan excellent example of the political philosoph y of Humanism in Portugal and its necessary pedagogy.
