Efectos sistémicos de la aplicación del n-butil 2-cianoacrilato en la microcirugía vascular experimental Systemic effects of the application of n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate on experimental vascular microsurgery

Se evaluó la utilidad del n-butil 2-cianoacrilato en microcirugía vascular, se comparó la evolución en el cierre de las heridas vasculares, y se analizó el comportamiento visceral y hematológico. se realizó un estudio prospectivo aleatorio de cohorte (1 y 6 meses) en 65 ratas Wistar macho: controles sanos (n= 10), estudio (n= 28) y controles positivos (n= 27). Se aplicó cianoacrilato en aorta abdominal con 3 puntos de retención. Se comparó la evolución con la sutura clásica con el polipropileno 8/0, se estudió repercusión histológica visceral y sanguínea. Hubo evolución similar mediante ambos métodos, d egradación del cianoacrilato a los 6 meses. La aplicación del adhesivo no repercute en la evolución de los casos ni produce toxicidad. The usefulness of n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate in vascular microsurgery was assessed, the evolution in the closure of vascular wounds was compared, and the visceral and hematological behaviour was analysed. A cohort randomized prospective study was performed (1 and 6 months) in 65 male Wistar rats: sound controls (n= 10), study (n= 28), and positive controls (n= 27). Cyanoacrylate was applied in the abdominal aorta using three retention stitches. The evolution was compared with the classic suture with polypropylene 8/0. The histological, visceral, and blood repercussion was studied. There was a similar evolution by using both methods. Degradation of cyanoacrylate was observed at 6 months. The utilization of the adhesive neither influence on the evolution of the cases, nor produce toxicity.
