REGULAMENTATION OF PAYMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES ON EXTREMA, MG = A REGULAMENTA O JURíDICA DE SERVI OS AMBIENTAIS NO MUNICíPIO DE EXTREMA - MG

This study aimed to present the implementation of the regulamentation of payment for environmental services on Extrema - MG. Was also carried out a simulation of the proposed methodology for estimating the environmental benefits through the financial rewards of the "water provider program" by the ANA, to estimate the abatement of erosion and sedimentation in the Posses watershed. The results showed that deployment of the "Conservative Water" is a reality by Law 2.100/05 and its regulations seek to ensure social and environmental sustainability through the management and practices implemented by means of payment for environmental services. Finally, the reduction in average sedimentation basin would be 60%, resulting in an average benefit of R$ 75.00 / ha year. = O presente trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar a implanta o da regulamenta o jurídica de servi os ambientais no município de Extrema – MG. Foi realizada também uma simula o da aplica o da metodologia proposta para estimar os benefícios ambientais através das compensa es financeiras do Programa “Produtor de água” da ANA, para a estimativa do abatimento de eros o e sedimenta o na bacia hidrográfica das Posses. Os resultados mostraram que a implanta o do programa “Conservador de águas” é uma realidade através da Lei 2.100/05 e seus regulamentos procuram garantir a sustentabilidade socioambiental através do manejo e das práticas implantadas por meio do pagamento pelos servi os ambientais. Finalmente, o abatimento médio da sedimenta o na bacia seria de 60%, resultando num valor médio de benefício de R$ 75,00/ha/ano.
