A Review On Hepatotoxicity

Liver is the principle organ for maintaining the body’s internal environment. The liver has a major influence on the flow of nutrients the rest of the body’s, it control the metabolism of carbohydrate, proteins and fats. Liver is also the biggest reticulo- endothelial organ in the body as such has important immune function in maintaining body integrity. The herbal drugs derived from plants posses various medicinal value. We, the human beings, posses a huge wealth of medicinal plants which have been explored and validated for their therapeutic properties, still there are so many plants whose medicinal properties are not yet published and lots of research works are needed to be carried out on such medicinal plants.
