L’uragano Felix: reazioni di un soccorritore

In this paper the author provide some excerpts from an interview with LuisSonzini, “rappresentante Paese” of the Bologna’s Gruppo di volontariato civilein Nicaragua and manager of an emergency project delivered in the RegionAutonoma Atlantico Nord/RAAN, one of the two Nicaragua’s autonomousregions where hurricane Felix hit in September 2007. Sonzini was there whenFelix hit Nicaragua’s coasts, and in this account, which is also a sort of selftherapy,he describes with vivid images and strong symphaty the effects of thehurricane on the people and on the physical environment, both from theviewpoint of a survivor and from that of a rescuer.
