This report covers developments in chromatography and related techniques in China during the period of 1998 1999 The papers published in 23 domestic and a few foreign periodicals which are closely related to chromatography, and presented at 1999 Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis and the 12th National Symposium of Chromatography are reviewed.
