Abstract:
Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) is an attractive method for protein purification.The paper gives a review on the characteristics of HIC packings, including matrices and hydrophobic ligands.The effciencies for protein separations were compared for different HIC packings. The present situation and the developing trends of the preparative HIC packings were described.
