Validation of the Name Osmanthus marginatus var.pachyphyllus (Oleaceae)

The name Osmanthus marginatus var. pachyphyllus which was published based on Osmanthuspachyphyllus H. T. Chang is invalid because two type specimens (one in flower, one fruiting) were indicated in the protolog. The name is here validated at the rank of variety, with the fruiting specimen designated as the holotype.
