Utilization and Rational Control Measures of Nutrient Resources in China
|
Abstract:
Nutrient use efficiency not only influences the systematic benefit of agriculture and peasants' direct income, but also affects agricultural sustainable development and environmental quality in China. Nutrients in the soil, fertilizer and environment are major components of nutrient resources. Current nutrient resources distribution, utilization condition and existing problems in China were analyzed in this paper, at the same time separate appraising of nutrient resources from society, economy, agriculture, and environment was brought forward. The soil is the largest nutrient resources bank, there are many nutrient elements needed by crops in the soil, but distribution of nutrient resources is inhomogeneous, so it is necessary to select the rational land for use of nutrient resources in line with the local conditions, chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizer nutrient and atmosphere. Nutrient resources from water body are important source of the soil nutrient, the agricultural mineral resources contain many kinds of nutrient and element needed by the crops, which is raw materials producing nutrient resources for crops. Our country is in short of resource supply, we should not focus only on intensive use of various kinds of nutrient resources, but also pay attention to protect the environment and get high quality and safe agricultural products. Therefore, the regulation and control measures of nutrient resources should be carried on following the suggestions as below: Firstly, high efficient technology system should be established in order to make great efforts to improve nutrient use efficiency. Secondly, nutrient resources management should not be carried on in the entire country, but suitable control and regulation measures should be outspreaded in different ecosystems, and macroscopically management and area regulation of nutrient resources should be integrated. In the end, high nutrient use efficiency is a rational equilibrium of supply and demand, and the utilization of nutrient resources in combination with ecological environment protection is a prerequisite for nutrient resources utilization.
