Design of linux drivers for seafloor CSMT instrument

Marine CSEM is an effective method for Methane Hydrate detection, which is validated by foreign Methane Hydrate exploration tests. The key work of marine CSEM is developing equipment which acquires CSEM signal and must be of high precision, high robustness, and low power .To acquire ultra wide band and high dynamic range CSEM signal intelligently, we have designed measurement circuit based on Linux and ARM9, developed the Linux drivers for data acquisition under Linux 2.4 kernel. This paper describes the elements of acquire hardware and char devices driver, example of drivers for SSC and locking GPS.
