Alanysis of velocity ratio and stacking technique for converted wave of dipping layers: the practical application to Ps wave data processing of Panyi coal layers
|
Abstract:
At present the presumption for converted wave data processing is confined to flat layers, but the real CCP(Common Converted Point) stack is more preferable to abbreviate procedure for data processing and improve the quality of profiles. Based on ray-path theory and geometry relations, iterated and analytic formulas are deduced for a single dipping layer. For different depth ratios, velocity ratio and sine ratio of dipping angles, the CCP positions are illustrated to compare with the CCP of a flat layer. Utilizing this method for a single dipping coal layer, we scann the velocity ratio and pick this attribut to obtain the staking image, which show more accurate variation of target layers. Nevertheless the artifical jointing of different layers is not betaken to obtain interpolated smooth profile, a point to point stacking technique is aroused to form the integrant sense of the multi-layer CCP stacking profile. The method experiment on real data of three dipping coal layers and one Cenozoic flat layer shows better image than the flat layer(ACCP) technique.
