Treatment and Control of Endemic Fluorosis Based on the Ecological Principles

Based on geochemical environment, climate conditions, water fluoride concentration,nutritional conditions and so on, epidemic characters of endemic fluorosis are analyzed in this paper.Having brief review of progress on treatment and control of endemic fluorosis. The results show that it is difficult to further clarify the mechanism of fluorosis only searching for the microcosmic changes that resulted from fluoride of toxical dose without cross confirmation of multiple subjects. After following the ecological principles, taking relevant measures of getting at the root of fluorosis, intervention and anti-fluoridation, and considering interaction between human and environment, better results could be achieved.
