EFFICIENCY COMPARISON OF RESOURCES USE IN FRAMEWORK OF INTERRELATIONSHIP
|
Abstract:
Labor productivity rises up as capacity/labor ratio increases, but output/capital ratio falls down. Therefore, one of them is not used independently to indicate which efficiency of the two economic categories is higher. In this paper the author incorporates them into a framework of interrelationship so that one can distinguish the efficiency of an economic category from another. The comparison system needs less information than that uses total factor productivity. It reflects not only economic efficiency difference but of capital/labor ratio. The author provides four cases to show it's operation and applicability.
