A combined cloud classification method of multi spectral satellite cloud pictures based on GA and FCM
模糊聚类与遗传算法相结合的卫星云图云分类

In order to overcome FCM algorithm's disadvantages,we develop the idea to combine the global optimum of GA,the local optimum of FCM with confirmation of clustering centers' numbers objectively of FSC mutually.And we can also make an approach to accomplish the automatic classifications of the weather area.The results of experimentations show that GA-FCM method has better cloud classification effect than those of only using the GA or FCM or Subtractive algorithm.GA-FCM method can not only effectively remedy the disadvantages of FCM or GA algorithm in the cloud classification,but also get the automatic and objective cloud classification conform to the weather fact.
