The integrated analysis of mineral resource information seems to be one of the effective means for optimization of targets. The paper selects MapInfo as the development system and VC as secondary development tools. It builds a MapInfo comprehensive information mineral resources assessment system based on the general theory and method of mineral resources prognosis of comprehensive information. The paper introduces in details the process of MapInfo comprehensive information mineral resources and takes the Gold mine region in south of Shanxi province as an example. The results similar to others systems show the system is effective and the method is useful for mineral resource assessment.
