MECHANICS OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS IN THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF LARGE AIRCRAFT
大飞机研制中的若干复合材料力学问题

This paper briefly reviews mechanics problems related to applications of advanced composite mate- rials in the structures of modern large aircraft,including the manufacturing and processing,trans-scale mate- rial/structural integrated design and characterization of materials properties,high-efficiency structural design and analysis,damage tolerance and durability,and safety monitoring and management systems.It is shown that there is a strong need for domestic researchers and engineers to work together to advance the research and applications of advanced composite materials so as to ensure that they play an important role in the development of large aircraft in China.
