CONTINUITY AND DERIVABILITY FOR AN INTERPOLATION FUNCTION OF TWO VARIABLES

(1) In this paper, we give an example, which shows that che interpolationfunction by Shepard is discontinuous under some cases. (2) We prove that interpolation function by Shepard is continuous if datum location cansatisfy some conditions, which can not get guarantee the existence of partial derivative.
