Theoretical Results on Applying EM-SFM Algorithm and Modular Network to Fuzzy Sugeno Model

Based on modular network, the widely used Sugeno fuzzy model is newly re explained. Accordingly, based on EM algorithm, a new algorithm EM SFM for this model is presented, its linear convergence is proved, and its convergence rate is also analyzed.
