DIES: A Domain Independent Expert System
DIES：一个领域独立的专家系统

In this paper,the structure and the functional features of the DIES system are described. DIES represents an intelligent problem solver based on both declarative and normative knowledge. It is able to combine backward and forward inferences and to explain the derived reasoning line as well as the causes of features. Also,it can modify and yet keep consistent the knowledge it accumu-lates.
