A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE NUCLEI OFLAGENIDIUM GIGANTEUM
大链壶菌细胞核的初步研究

A preliminary study on the nuclei of Lagenidium giganteum was carried out with methods ofhistochemistry, fluoroscopy, transmission EM and microcultrue to observe the number and shape of the nuclei.Their positions inside the fungal cells and their movement along the germination tubc during the germination ofthe zoosporcs were observed too. This research provides valuable basic information to further studies on thegenetics and genetic engineering of this fungus.
