Isolation, purification and structure of Cp-I toxin from Cryphonectria parasitica

The strain of Cryphonectria parasitica was cultivated by liquid fermentation.The crude material with wilt-inducing activity to chestnut browse was obtained by using petroleum ether extracting method from the fermentation broth.Three compounds were obtained by means of silica gel column chromatography using mixed solution of V(chloroform):V(petroleum ether):V(alcohol) = 6:2:2 as eluent.The results showed the first compound(Cp-I) had higher wilt-inducing activity than the other two.The chemical formula of the...
