The 3D model of tree is widely used in agricultural research and other areas such as show business, education, business, etc. At present, the methods of tree modeling cannot be used universally: different applications need different models. This paper presented a shape model of 3D tree based on fractal. The use of random-trembling and double-buffer technique takes both the third dimension and the speed of calculation into consideration. As a result the method has good universality, it can be carried out easily, and can make lifelike tree sketch.
