Method to implement retargetable cross-debugger

This paper researched on the method of extension for cross-debug tools. At the same time, it designed and implemented a retargetable cross-debugger. The cross-debugger made it possible for users to finish all the debug actions in a PC. With the implementation of debug program interface(DPI), the debugger could support source-level debug in different chips. The method above can implement cross-debuggers for different chips quickly and has the advantage of short development cycle, cost-effective, and with excellent portability.
