Network congestion on small scale-time

The window-based congestion control algorithms, without considering the network congestion on the smaller time-scale than RTT, cannot reach the designing object. This paper researched the relationship between the window-updating algorithms and network congestion on the small time-scale, proposed a method measuring the connection traffic burst on the small time-scale, and analyzed the TCP efficiency in the high speed network with small buffer.
