Study on Grid Information Service in Cluster Environment
集群环境中网格信息服务的一个实现方案

This paper discussed grid information service on PC clusters.As all slave nodes on a cluster usually had local IP addresses only, default MDS information service could only gathers information about the master node of a cluster. Therefore,the information is illogical and a grid task may not be executed smoothly.Moreover,information provided by default MDS information service may be inadequate for specific engineering applications,and thus, serveral custom Information Providers(IP) should be integrated into the default MDS as a part of extension.The present paper proposed an approach by modifying and extending the Globus MDS to resolve this problem.
