Gamut mapping is a key technology for color management.In this paper,a spatial adaptive gamut mapping technique is proposed by the analysis of color image characteristics.With the combination image enhancement technique with traditional gamut mapping algorithm, this method overcomes the shortcomings encountered with the traditional techniques,improving the accuracy and performance of the color reproduction.
