INFLUENCE OF SOME FACTORS ON FLUID FLOW IN CONTINUOUS CASTING TUNDISHES

This paper, in which the influence of some factors on velocity fieldin continuous casting tundishes has been verified by means of computer simulation,is the extension of the paper "Fluid dynamics of continuous casting tundishes.These factors are tundish wall inclination; the dimensionless geometric size of tun-dish; the double-angle tundish; the dimension and location of weir and dam. Someuseful conclusions may be extracted finally for practice and design from this paper.
