Abstract:

Numerical simulation was adopted to study the gas-liquid two phase flow fields in a desulphurization tower effect. Because of its big size, it is difficult to carry out experimental study on the practical desulphurization tower and the cost of experiment is very high. In numerical simulation platform, velocity field, temperature field and the distribution of turbulence intensity distribution of 45 degrees, 75 degrees, - 30 degrees was simulated. The results show that velocity field change of -30 degrees in angle decorated is not very violent. Range of import and export temperature of desulphurization tower is ideal. The turbulent intension at the bottom of desulphurization tower is larger and slows down with the increase of height. This arrangement is good at mixing of gas-liquid two phase flow and controlling the temperature of exports, which is in favor of efficiency of desulfurization.
