Preparation and characterization of magnetic activated doped Mn
|
Abstract:
Activated carbon, which has magnetic and developed porosity, was prepared from the electrolytic manganese residue and the waste tobacco after extracting nicotine with microbial enzymatic. Surface properties and structure of the activated carbion were characterized by N2 adsorption isotherm and FTIR, and the absorption and magnetic properties of them were determined by methylene blue. The results show that activated carbon of the Mn/C raw material has magnetic properties. At the same time, a proper amount of Mn in the raw material makes it possible to grant the activated carbon with a higher magnetism and a bigger magneto conductivity. Chemical bonding is formed and saturation magnetic intensity increases in the interaction of magnetic materials and activated carbon. This research results would benefit the resource utilization of the waste tobacco and electrolytic manganese residue.
