Experimental study on properties of gaseous mercury removal by filter with dust layer
|
Abstract:
In this study,an imitating model of the bag filter fiber adsorbed the dust layer was proposed to investigate the combined properties of Hg0 removal in coal-fired flue gas by the bag filter and the dust, which attaches on the surface of the bag filter material. The experiment was test with a laboratory-scale packed bed reactor system. The measurement results indicated that both coal-fired fly ash dust layer and HBT filter material have certain ability to remove Hg0,the removal efficiencies are 35% and 42.5%,respectively.The removal process included physical adsorption and chemical adsorption.Removal efficiency of the HBT load coal-fired fly ash was mainly affected by adsorption temperature, initial concentration of mercury vapor and gas residence time and other factors, the highest removal efficiency was 64.4%.The higher the adsorption temperature, the lower the removal efficiency was.The longer gas residence time, the higher the removal efficiency was.Increasing the import mercury concentration is not necessarily improving the HBT fiber mixed fly ash dust filter removal effect for mercury.
