Study on mesophylic anaerobic fermentation of different mixture of respective pig and sheep manure with wheat straw
|
Abstract:
Effects of mesophylic anaerobic fermentation of the different mixture of wheat straw and respective pig and sheep manure on biogas yield, digestion time and the optimal C/N were studied. The results showed the optimal C/N of 21 for pig manure and wheat straw mixture. The full fermentation duration was 141 d, the maximum cumulative biogas yield was 369.53 mL per gram of dry matter. The optimal C/N was 24 for sheep manure and wheat straw mixture, with a full fermentation duration of 96 d, and maximum cumulative biogas yield of 209 mL per gram of dry matter. As compared with the sheep manure and wheat straw mixture, the pig manure and wheat straw mixture was acidified more easily, the pretreatment could reduce acidification.
