Horseradish peroxidase immobilization in palygorskite-based material for phenol wastewater treatment
|
Abstract:
Palygorskite clay, soluble starch and commercial silicate can be used to prepare a type of palygorskite-based granulated material. The granulated material was modified by modified palygorskite-based porous materials. The excellent performance of the porous materials applied in phenol wastewater removal was proved after horseradish peroxidase were fixed on the materials. The experimental results show that 1 mg unit volume of activity vector fixed time of 1.5 hours and pH value of 5 will ensure the best immobilization condition of horseradish peroxidase. After 6 times recycle test of the immobilized enzyme, phenol removal rate can reach 62.3%.
