Study on adsorption and degradation effects of aniline in suspending soil mediums
|
Abstract:
To search the aniline adsorption and degradation characteristics of crude soil mediums, four mediums labeled S2,S4,S5,S6 were selected and static batch laboratory experiments were conducted. The results showed that under sterile conditions the main process was aniline adsorption to the mediums, which fitted well for pseudo second order model, and the correlation coefficient was above 0.99. With aborigines microorganism existent, aniline concentration decreased very fast, and the change of aniline concentration remained in the system could be simulated well by first order reaction kinetics. The shortest half life of 30 mg/L aniline was only 7.6 h under the fresh medium conditions, and it could be removed by 99.9% within 60 h, aniline concentrations declining was closely related to the numbers and species of microorganism in the mediums.
