Phosphorus removal by enhanced coagulation in simulative and treated wastewater
|
Abstract:
The simulative wastewater was employed and the characteristics of phosphorus removal were investigated. Three various coagulants, polyaluminum chloride, ferric chloride and ferrous sulfate, were applied. In this research, the influence of coagulant dosage and other effective factors were discussed. Meanwhile, the adsorption behaviors of ferric hydroxide were elucidated. Moreover, the phosphorus removal efficiency of three different coagulates composed with ferric hydroxide were discussed. Finally, the economical dosage of each coagulant was given.
