Detection of Moving Small Targets By FPGA

Grievous specie noise was taken out by a maximum/median filter and the image sequences at low Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) were cumulated using the relativity of target. The SNR. could be improved. A signal processor which can implement the algorithm by FPGA is presented. The experimental results indicate that the method can effectively improve the SNR of image sequences and the platform can implement the method in real time.
