Survey and assessment of seawater quality at Dagu river estuary and adjacent sea area

The survey of surface seawater quality at the Dagu river estuary and adjacent sea area was conducted in Junes, 2006 and 2007, in which temperature, pH value, salt degree, DO, COD, NH3-N, NO2-N,NO3-N, PO4-P, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd and oils were measured. The sea water quality was assessed by analysing thesingle pollution index and the nutrient status index. The main pollutants were inorganic nitrogen and oils. Thenutrient level was relatively high at Dagu river estuary and adjacent sea area. It belonged to a phosphorus-limiting sub-eutrophication status in 2006 and 2007.
